The testing set of SMG-1, SMG-2 measuring groups was created on the basis of many years of experience in the production of terminal block for special purposes, primarily for measuring places as well as other places where there are more challenging operating modes. The experiences of experts in the field of semi-indirect and indirect measurement with measurement groups from all Electric Distribution Companies throughout Serbia were also used.
The Test Set of Measuring Group SMG-1 and SMG-2 is constructed so that by repackaging sets can be made in a way that literally meets the requirements of all Electric distribution companies, both in Serbia and in the region.
The basic version (SMG-1) contains 4 voltage terminals and 3 groups of 3 current terminals.
On the voltage terminals L1, L2, L3, a top-quality cylindrical fuse housing (fi 5×20) certified for a load of max 20 A is installed. The set of measuring group SMG-1 is supplied with cartridges 6.3 A, 250 VAC, with high resistance to current short circuit 10 kA (10,000 A) whose certificates are attached to each set of measuring group SMG-1.
The voltage terminal “N” for zero has a built-in bridge so that, if necessary, disassembly can be carried out without unscrewing the screws on the conductors.
LED diodes are installed on the voltage terminals L1, L2, L3, which induce a possible blown fuse, which can always be monitored by unscrewing it.
Bridges are installed on all current terminals, which enable short-circuiting of each group of 3 terminals by horizontal movement.
All connectors have test sockets for connecting instruments during measurement (testing).
The clamping capacity of the contacts is max 16 mm2 (according to the technical regulations of EPS), all connectors are galvanically protected.
The transfer lines of the connectors are made of brass, and the transfer accessories are made of copper sheets (Cu).
The screws are standard and galvanized (JUS 103).
Terminal housings are made of imported plastic (granules) “Noryl SE0” self-extinguishing category Vo.
The sealing cover is made of transparent plastic material “Lexan” of self-extinguishing category V2.
The entire test set is attached to the DIN 35 line using a special mechanism (a DIN 35 line is also supplied in the set).
TECHNICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SMG-1 AND SMG-2
The SMG-2 Measuring Group Test Set differs from the SMG-1 model by not having a fuse, and only the disassembly of the voltage terminals is performed using vertically opening bridges. Other elements of the measuring set remained the same as the SMG-1 set.
USAGE
The SMG-1 version (with fuses) is used in most of Serbia at semi-indirect and indirect measurement points.
The SMG-2 version (without fuse) is used in practice in some Electric distribution services.
The very construction of the Test Measuring Set SMG is made in such a way that it is susceptible to making various combinations and thus meets different needs for measurements that differ by region and Electric distribution abroad.
