We use type R dry fuses to protect equipment and welders from flame blowback during manual autogenous welding and cutting with acetylene, propane-butane and other fuel gases.
They can also be used at workplaces of central distributions only as additional (secondary) protection.
Notes
A type R dry fuse cannot replace a water fuse on central distributions (acetylene P/B, etc.).
Fuses are manufactured in accordance with JUS K.M6.022.
