The housing of RS 4-16/4 and RSB 4-16/4 terminal blocks is made of high-quality imported plastics that have insulating properties as well as resistance to elevated temperatures, exceeding the characteristics of previously used materials (110°C without deformation). The material “NORYL” SEO, self-extinguishing category “Vo”, was used in their production.
The connectors are made of MS-line dim. 8 x 11 and galvanically protected for terminal type RS (RSB) 4-16/4.
The screws on the terminal contacts are in line with YUS MB1-111.Zn. and each contact is tightened with two screws.
A mechanism for hanging the terminal on a DIN 35 line is molded into the terminal housing on the underside.
The sealing cover is made of transparent LEXAN manufactured by “GE-Plastik” of the “Vo” self-extinguishing category.
One or more poles (for grounding) of the RS 4-16/1 type clamp can be added to the RS and RSB 4-16 clamps (with the help of a dovetail) if necessary.
With this new construction, many shortcomings that existed in previously applied terminals such as the RNSS 4-16 type terminal and others have been eliminated.
Usage
Primarily, the advantage and purpose of RSB series terminals is the possibility of sealing through the cover in the cabinets of measuring points in civil engineering from one meter.
The purpose of RS 4-16 type terminals has no limitations in terms of power terminals for all types of either industrial cabinets or any type of equipment containing electrical energy supply.
The label “ECO” means a more economical terminal in terms of price for situations where bridging is not required.
